Quick Update on iPhone 2G

So my iPhone 2G got a busted dock connector ribbon,
this of course means I can’t charge it.

Everything else works perfectly fine,
just no charging and no USB Connection.

This obviously won’t work at all when it comes to doing iPhoneLinux development.
Luckily I was able to get into contact with someone who was willing to sell me an iPhone 2G!
This came at a handy time, meaning that I will be able to continue with the development and also continue with my case modding, keeping certain hardware parts for spares is always a good thing too!

Anyway,
hit this bloke up, he is crazily helpful and obviously a great guy!
follow him on twitter!

Just a tiny project – Hackint0sh

Basically just making a hackint0sh,
this is mainly due to the fact that I need something at home as well as my laptop that is running OS X.

I will also be purchasing another gigabyte of RAM,
only to make the hackint0sh more powerful and to have the ability to run XCode to full potential.

With any luck,
I will also be able to have this machine continuously connected to the internet,
which means I’ll then be able to use LogMeIn to acces it from school.

More news to come with iPhoneLinux,
still trying to configure my Linux machine properly.

For anyone who is interested, I used this guide to create hackint0sh.
